More Information About Final Jeopardy!:

The Magic Mountain is Thomas Mann's 1924 work in which its protagonist, Hans Castorp, visits his cousin Joachim Ziemssen, who is recovering from tuberculosis in the Swiss Alps, spending time at a sanatorium in Davos, Switzerland. In the 1970s, German engineer Klaus Schwab, looking to introduce European firms to American management practices, began the European Management Symposium in Davos, which became the World Economic Forum in 1987.

This ends up being an extremely recent Current Events Final Jeopardy clue; the 2026 edition of the World Economic Forum—which will likely be remembered in the future as the venue of Mark Carney's special address—took place just a week before taping of this tournament.
