Why Isn't James Holzhauer In Jeopardy! Masters?

While he hasn't made any public statements regarding his participation in Jeopardy! Masters, James has become more interested in competitive bridge. Thus, we have to assume that James Holzhauer is at least semi-retired from competitive Jeopardy! play, if not fully retired.

Why Isn't Jamie Ding In Jeopardy! Masters?

Jamie Ding isn't in Jeopardy! Masters yet because his 31 wins on Jeopardy! are too recent; he will need to have played in the Tournament of Champions, and qualify for Jeopardy! Masters via that route. I would expect to see Jamie Ding as part of the field for the 2027 Jeopardy! Masters event.

What's The Format for Jeopardy! Masters Season 4?

The format for Jeopardy! Masters in 2026 is identical to Season 2 in 2024. The 6 players will play 6 games each in the quarterfinals stage, with a win being 3 match points, second place being 1 match point, and third place being 0 match points. If a player does not reach Final Jeopardy, they also receive 0 match points for that game. The top 4 players, as ranked by match points, will advance to the semifinals (Episodes 7 & 8), where the points rest. In the semifinals, a full combination of pairings will take place, with the top 3 players advancing to the two-game total-point final (Episode 9.)

How Do You Watch Jeopardy! Masters Season 4?

The entire tournament will be airing on ABC in the United States and on CTV in Canada. It should be noted that in a number of television markets, this will be a different channel than you normally watch the show on.

Each game is scheduled to air on ABC at 8:00 (7:00 Central); Canadian viewers should check their local listings, as some of the episodes may be airing at a different time depending on where you're located in the country.
