Today's Jeopardy! contestants:

Liz Webber, a journalist from New York, New York
Andy Seher, an executive legal recruiter from Milwaukie, Oregon
Erica Doornek, a federal employee originally from Glasgow, Montana

Erica enters today's game as a 1-day champion with winnings of $23,500.

Andy's Pregame Thoughts:

As parts of North America return to Standard Time, Erica Doornek returns to the Alex Trebek Stage as your defending champion; she won $23,500 on Friday's show. Today, your challengers are Liz Webber from New York and Andy Seher from the northwestern Oregon city of Milwaukie.

I mentioned this last night on my Jeopartalk podcast, but I get extremely upset when I see my infographics being stolen off my Facebook page. Facebook has a mechanism for sharing posts—you're more than welcome to use the Share function and add your own commentary. That's what it's there for! But taking a screenshot of my infographic and then posting it on your own page will get your post yeeted off the platform.

I should also say that after the whole PHP2Shell debacle of the last two weeks that has befallen other parts of the Internet, I am extremely happy regarding my switch over the summer away from WordPress and on to the Labrador CMS platform for The Jeopardy! Fan. I don't know how well I'd have been able to handle these issues on my own if I'd still been responsible for my own updates.

Finally, the J!6 clues, for the fourth Monday in succession, haven't been updated on the Jeopardy! website; I assume they'll make their way online later in the day.

Final Jeopardy! Category: Architecture

Final Jeopardy! Clue: It's been said of this building that you hear it before you see it; its architect described the sound as "the music of the stream"

Correct response: What is Fallingwater?

Am I ever glad for my The New York Times Replica Edition subscription through Pressreader this morning! (For those who don't know, the Jeopardy! website's Clue of the Day matches the one used in Jeopardy! YouTube Edition from October 22.) Needless to say, Page C4 of today's The New York Times displays the clue above.

On to the clue itself, Fallingwater is a famous house, located in southwestern Pennsylvania, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in the 1930s to sit atop the Bear Run stream. The main house is situated on top of a 20-30 foot waterfall (hence the name Fallingwater.)

This seems like a relatively straightforward clue for anyone with cursory knowledge of 20th century American architecture.
