Less than two months after the Battle of Lexington in 1775, a group of frontiersmen named a site in what was then Kentucky County, Virginia, after the battle. Today, it is the second-most populous city in the state of Kentucky. Two of its most famous 19th century political sons were Vice President John C. Breckinridge and famed Senator, Speaker, and Secretary of State Henry Clay; their resting place today is Lexington Cemetery.
Interestingly, the Lexington, Kentucky market suffered extra March Madness preemptions around the time when this episode originally aired back in March 2025.

Game Recap:
Cameron Berry took the lead on clue #6 of this one and never looked back, picking up 27 correct responses en route to a runaway victory. That being said, this game wasn’t without its bad luck for Alex—he had 11 clue selections in Double Jeopardy and was unable to find a Daily Double, as Cameron picked top-row clues five times.
Had Alex found the Daily Doubles, this game’s result may have been significantly different, as Alex was the only player who was able to name Lexington in Final Jeopardy; however, Cameron took victory as the result of his runaway. Next week’s encore presentation features Cameron facing off against Steve Luck and Josh Weikert—and if I’m reading the calendar properly, that should be just enough epiosdes to bring us all the way back around exactly to where we started last September; Josh’s final game with Bryce Wargin was featured on September 13 & 14 of 2025.
