Correct response: What is Delaware?

More information about Final Jeopardy:

The state of Delaware has long been considered to be an American corporate tax haven; incorporating in the state offers the corporation numerous tax and legal benefits including significantly lower incorporation fees, increased corporate privacy, and lower taxes than other states. Additionally, there is the Delaware Court of Chancery, specifically created to adjudicate corporate litigation. Thus, many large corporations have elected to incorporate in Delaware.

Andy’s Thoughts:

  • The show’s original tie rule was in effect for this episode; co-champions were still permitted. Thus, $0 was the best bet for Chuck to make in Final Jeopardy (and Susan should have bet everything.)
  • Linda received a White-Westinghouse SpaceSave laundry pair and Jules Jurgensen his & hers diamond watches; Susan received a package of 9 Waring kitchen appliances.
