Yesterday, Adam Remsen took his seventh victory on Jeopardy!; he’s had 190 correct responses over his first 7 games. He’s quite likely to pass the 200 mark today in his eighth match, where he faces off against challengers Joey Tebben and Sarah Michel.
There is again a chance that today’s game will air at 9:30 AM Central on KVHP in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as the World Cup on FOX is still causing preemptions in those cities where a FOX affiliate airs the show. (Matt Carberry’s Google sheet has full details.) If I end up being able to watch the show early, the results will be posted after that airing.
In other housekeeping news, as some people have asked: My Jeopardy! Masters Season 4 pre-taping preview will be posted on Sunday, July 12 (as it is tradition now for me to post pre-taping previews on the Sunday immediately prior to taping.)

I’ll be honest: this has to be one of my favorite Final Jeopardy clues in a long while, probably because of the “stealth sports” aspect of it. The title being referred to here is “Commmander-In-Chief”, which of course contains the nicknames of the Washington Commanders and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Is it a guaranteed 3-for-3? No. If a contestant ends up being bogged down looking at the wrong titles, they’re going to have a bad time here. (Not that the Facebook comment brigade is going to care.)
