Of the fifteen players in this Million Dollar Masters tournament, India Cooper is the only player no longer with us; she passed away on May 17 of this year after a short battle with esophageal cancer. Aside from her Jeopardy! performances, India was a champion and supporter of so many projects within the trivia community and a very strong supporter of so many of us. She is missed every single day by me and so many others within the community.

John F. Kennedy’s Profiles in Courage is a 1956 work of biographies of 8 United States Senators who, in Kennedy’s opinion, displayed Senatorial courage on a specific issue. He wrote the book in 1954 and 1955 while bedridden after back surgery, with his speechwriter Ted Sorensen acting as ghostwriter. The book won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography in 1957.
