Outlander is the 1991 debut novel by Diana Gabaldon; the work features World War II nurse Claire Beauchamp who ends up time travelling back to 18th century Scotland. The novel series currently has nine books published, with the most recent being 2021’s Go Tell the Bees that I Am Gone. A television series based on the series debuted on Starz in 2014 and starred Caitríona Balfe as Claire. (The television series is, ironically enough, a Sony Pictures Television production, much like Jeopardy.)

While Megan found the Daily Double on Clue #2, it was Steve who had the best start over the opening 15 clues, with the Arizonan picking up six correct responses! Coming out of the break, both Steve and our champion played well, with the two of them tied for the lead after Single Jeopardy!

Sarah came on very strong in Double Jeopardy, with the Montanan finding both Daily Doubles and took the lead! Steve, though, played very well and stayed close! Unfortunately for Sarah, a couple of incorrect guesses with Aston Martin late in the Classic Cars category relegated her to second place going into Final. Scores going into Final were Steve leading at $16,200, Sarah in second at $13,400, and Megan in third at $11,800!
Final today was a Triple Stumper, and Megan made the perfect bet to the number—winning today’s game by a mere $2 after Steve bet to cover Sarah. Megan returns tomorrow in an attempt to win game #4!
