As I said in my recent editorial, if you’re going to express an opinion about one host or another, I ask that you make thoughtful, reasoned arguments. A lot of your opinions on one host over another are going to be a matter of personal taste. Please also remember that a permanent host will not be named until the start of Season 38.

Andy’s Pregame Thoughts: Lucy’s follow-up performance was arguably stronger than her first! It seems clear to me that she has used the most of her preparation time—in fact, as Claire McNear put it on Twitter, yesterday’s game had definite “Just Wager $4000” energy. Will she be able to make it three? As an illustrator, I can definitely see this Final working in her favor. However, she might have “the curse of too much knowledge” which has bitten many contestants in the past; she might fail to consider the correct response by virtue of having more subject-area knowledge than the other players.
PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everybody to abide by physical distancing guidelines and when you are not able to do so, properly wear a mask. Ensure that your mask covers both your nose and your mouth.

Eric Carle’s famous children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar began life as “A Week With Willi Worm”, inspired by Carle punching holes in paper and realizing that it looked like a worm eating through the paper. According to a BBC story, when it came time to publish the book in 1969, no US printer would print it due to the differently-shaped pages and the holes. Eventually, a Japanese printer was found. According to Penguin, more than 50 million copies of the book have been sold worldwide.
