Big Bird is the famed 8’2″-tall yellow bird from Sesame Street, first appearing on November 10, 1969. He is canonically six and a half years old, as evidenced by this tweet. Big Bird was inexplicably in the news in 2021 as he found himself in the cross-hairs of Republican Senator Ted Cruz (and others) for having the audacity to promote COVID vaccines for children.
