More information about Final Jeopardy:
Prior to Marion Jones being disqualified in 2007 due to her admission of steroid use, with her medals being stripped by the IOC, she had won three gold and two bronze medals at the Sydney Olympics, with the golds coming in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4×400 meter relay and the bronze medals in the long jump and 4×100 meter relay. At the time of the Sydney games, her then-husband, shot putter C.J Hunter, had failed four pre-Olympics drug tests. In December 2004, just days after Ken Jennings’ winning streak ended, BALCO’s Victor Conte said on ABC’s 20/20 that he had personally given performance-enhancing drugs to Jones. (BALCO is also infamous in the baseball world as being the supplier of the supplements used by Barry Bonds.)
This is a good illustration as to how trivia questions can sometimes change in the years following episodes taped in the past.
