Correct response: Who is Johnny Cash?

In addition to his famous live albums recorded at Folsom and San Quentin, Johnny Cash played numerous unpaid prison concerts, dating all the way back to Huntsville State Prison in Texas in 1957. Over the course of these concerts, Cash became an advocate for prison reform, to the point that he was invited to testify before the Senate. His testimony relayed stories about some of the worst abuses he had heard of on his visits. The testimony was so moving that Senator Quentin N. Burdick (D-ND) felt the need to say “We need more Johnny Cashes, I guess”.
I feel as though a lot of viewers at home are going to say “Well, it’s either Johnny Cash or Elvis Presley”, as Presley did have his famous early-’70s meeting with Richard Nixon.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, nearly $500 has been raised.)

Andy’s Thoughts:
- I anticipate some viewers will be up in arms over CITY FILMS $1600 and whether or not MacKenzie responded in the form of a question. It was very clear to me that her phrasing crossed over Alex saying “MacKenzie, again” (as it was the fourth consecutive clue she had rung in on) and she began speaking after Alex said “MacKenzie”, not expecting him to say “Again”.
- As a former pub quiz host, I think I would have enjoyed a team with a team name solely as a drawing of a cat.
- By my count, it appears as though MacKenzie has passed Tom Cubbage ($161,600) to become the highest-earning contestant from Oklahoma on Jeopardy!
