With a book by Jessie Nelson, music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, Lorin Latarro as choreographer, and direction by Diane Paulus, Waitress became the first Broadway show with all four main creative roles filled by different female artists. The musical was nominated for four Tony Awards in 2016 including Best Musical (losing to Hamilton).
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. To date, nearly $500 has been raised.)
