I think all three semifinals will be very competitive games. While England and Scotland had been in union since 1603, their boundaries remained distinct until 1707, when the Acts of Union united the two into one kingdom with the name of Great Britain, with one parliament and one monarch. In 1801, Great Britain entered into a further union with Ireland, creating the United Kingdom. Queen Anne, who was reigning at the time, thus was the last monarch of England and Scotland and the first monarch of Great Britain.
