Today’s the first day of Season’s 38 Encore Presentations; the show has selected 30 of Season 38’s best games to highlight this summer — Season 39 begins September 12.
It’s also going to be an interesting day for Jeopardy! fans, as Pluto TV begins carrying old episodes of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. As of the current moment, only episodes that have previously appeared on Netflix are in the Pluto on demand collection. I certainly hope that more episodes will be added in time, as this collection certainly does not add anything that a diehard fan of the show likely hasn’t seen recently.
Furthermore, the contestants selected to return to the show in this fall’s Second Chance Tournament will be released today on the show’s new official podcast, Inside Jeopardy!.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit was a 1988 live-action/animated comedy film set in a world where live-action and cartoon characters (“Toons”) coexisted; a character named Judge Doom creates the Dip as a method of executing Toons; the substance is allegedly harmless to the human characters. Another interesting bit of trivia about this film: it’s the only time that Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny appeared onscreen together, sharing a scene.
