Correct response: What are clouds?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
The International Cloud Atlas was first published as a cloud classification guide in 1896, which contained 28 colored plates, accompanied by definitions. This gave meteorologists a standard nomenclature to refer to cloud formations. (Who will be on cloud nine after winning this game? Come back here to thejeopardyfan.com after the game airs!) Plate number 9 in the original atlas referred to “cumulonimbus”; the tallest of the cloud formations, rising many miles into the sky. It’s from that where we get the familiar phrase “on cloud nine”.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well!
