The 2015 film Spotlight won Best Picture, followed by the 2016 film Moonlight; of course, Moonlight was the film embroiled in the mistaken-announcemnt controversy which took place at the 89th Academy Awards, after Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were handed the wrong envelope by PricewaterhouseCoopers accountant Brian Cullinan.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! All proceeds from any “Keep The Faith And We’ll Win” shirt sold will be donated to Alex Trebek’s preferred charity. (The de facto alumni association is currently inquiring with the show in order to determine Alex Trebek’s preferred charity; this will be updated when that has been determined. To date, $169.62 has been raised.)

Andy’s Thoughts:
- Sometimes contestants just have a bad day. It doesn’t help when Lindsey seems to be able to ring in at will on the signalling device. Contestants often find themselves having to take more chances when faced with a big deficit.
- Even though it was clue 26, that last Daily Double wager from Lindsey wasn’t that easy to come up with. A lot can happen in $6,800 worth of clues.
- Effective in first on buzzer stats: Lindsey 45.28 (24/53), Brian 32.08% (17/53), Lauren 22.64% (12/53).
