Correct response: What is 1952?
More information about Final Jeopardy:
1952 was the first electoral victory for former U.S. Army general Dwight Eisenhower, who had never held public elected office before winning the Presidency. Of course, it’s not his second election, 1956, as he had won the 1952 election by that point.

Andy’s Thoughts:
- Everyone who decided that they’d had enough of the tournament and has proceeded to skip this match? You literally just missed one of the most dramatic matches in the 35-year history of the show. If this 30-something guy has the meme down, I believe the phrase is “Congratulations, you played yourself”.
- I don’t know what else to say. From what I’ve heard since seeing this result, it seemed like everyone knew that this was a surprise result and an upset. But hey, that’s why you play the games!
