Charlie Chaplin, portrayed by Robert Downey, Jr. in the 1992 movie Chaplin, received honorary Oscars in 1929 for The Circus, a second honorary Oscar in 1972, and then one in 1973 for Limelight, as it was only released in Los Angeles more than 20 years after its original 1952 release, a fact that came up in a 2010 Final Jeopardy.
