More information about Final Jeopardy:
Murphy Brown, Candice Bergen’s famous character on the series of the same name, was the target of Vice President Dan Quayle’s ire in 1992 for becoming a single mother on Murphy Brown.
The TIME cover was the September 21, 1992 issue, in the midst of the 1992 presidential campaign.
The series returned to television in 2018.
Since Alex Trebek’s diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, many community members have been raising money. The Jeopardy! Fan Online Store is as well! Andy’s Thoughts:
- Steven should have limited his Final Jeopardy! bet to no more than $8,800. Any bet between $8,000 and $8,800 here gives Steven the best chance of winning.
- The prediction model is probably going to upset people even further, but Sam is actively trying to find Daily Doubles and is making the most of them. 5/5 is no fluke; I’m OK with the prediction model being northward of 70% for him.
