Presented as a “documentary”, Jersey Boys is a jukebox musical dealing with The Four Seasons. In its original Broadway run, Frankie Valli was played by John Lloyd Young, Tommy DeVito by Christian Hoff, Bob Gaudio by Daniel Reichard, and Nick Massi by J. Robert Spencer. It won four Tony Awards including Best Musical.
Fun fact: A young Joe Pesci was involved in introducing the group to Gaudio.
