More information about Final Jeopardy:
Ottawa, the capital of Canada, gets its name from the Algonquin “Adawe” or “Atawa”, meaning “to trade” or “to buy and sell”. It’s also home to Alex Trebek’s alma maters, both Lisgar Collegiate Institute and the University of Ottawa; the university named its alumni hall in Trebek’s honor in May 2015.
On a more personal note, Ottawa happens to be one of my personal favorite cities to spend time. I highly recommend that everyone give the city a visit. (Though I will warn my American friends: it gets cold in the winter!)
