Harry Truman’s 1947 State of the Union address was the first to be televised; it wasn’t until Lyndon Johnson’s 1965 address where the tradition of the State of the Union being delivered during prime time began. (For completeness’ sake, the 1923 State of the Union, delivered by Calvin Coolidge, was the first broadcast on radio.)

- Please remember to be kind to the contestants. Sometimes the game material just doesn’t hit their strong points; additionally, it is very easy to be thrown for a loop by the pressure of Studio 10. You could definitely tell that Khalilah was thrown off at times by some of the incorrect responses.
