After a plausible theory has surfaced, courtesy Matt Carberry, regarding the timing of Lisa Ann Walter’s late cancellation from competing in the Tournament of Champions and how it came after the Tournament of Champions taped (See, Darian, how easy it is to actually credit someone instead of referring to unnamed Redditors?), it appears as though we can close the book on the 32^nd Tournament of Champions. Whoever wins today will be held over until the postseason cycle leading up to the 33^rd ToC in 2026. The prediction model here at The Jeopardy! Fan thinks there’s about a 60% chance of that winner today being defending champion Dave Bond, who won $25,000 after a runaway performance yesterday. Of course, there are two challengers in Zach DeBoer and Erin Adams who’ll want to take victory themselves!

Morticia Addams, the matriarch of the Addams clan in The Addams Family, was portrayed by Carolyn Jones in the 1960s (The Addams Family) and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the 2020s (Wednesday). She’s also been portrayed on film by Anjelica Huston in the 1990s (The Addams Family and Addams Family Values).

Compared to some of the other more difficult Finals this week, I expect that today’s will end up being more straightforward. We shall see, though!
