Yes, Manhattan is an island; it is bounded by the Hudson River, Harlem River, East River, and New York Harbor. The northern part of the Harlem River, Spuyten Duyvil Creek (that forms the northern part of Manhattan’s border), was the key part of a famous Final Jeopardy! that the show asked during the Ultimate Tournament of Champions back in 2005 and was the start of Grace Veach’s unlikely run to the Round of 18 in that tournament.
Robert Fulton, Alexander Hamilton (the first Treasury Secretary), and Albert Gallatin (the fourth Treasury Secretary) are all buried at Trinity Church Cemetery on the island of Manhattan.

- There’s always a chance that a player who doesn’t have a runaway will lose in Final Jeopardy. Andrew could have gone significantly longer; luck just came for him early.
Amy significantly lowered her chances of winning by betting too much in Final Jeopardy, falling for Zerg’s Fallacy in this case. Amy should have bet no more than $5,199.
