More information about Final Jeopardy:

Plato’s “Apology” presents Socrates’ legal self-defense speech regarding the charges against Socrates for impiety and corruption (of the Athenian youth) in 399 B.C. Socrates was well known for clashing with prominent Athenians, especially after the Oracle at Delphi proclaimed nobody to be wiser than Socrates. After the trial, Socrates was sentenced to death; his death sentence was to drink poison (hemlock).
