The musical My Fair Lady was based of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, and gets its name from the last line of the nursery rhyme which opens “London Bridge is falling down”. London Bridge was relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona when the London structure was replaced in 1968, where it currently links the mainland with the marinas of Lake Havasu.
Interestingly, the show has gone down this “My Fair Lady”-London Bridge route before with Final Jeopardy, back in 2007, when it also linked it to Pygmalion.

Andy’s Thoughts:
- It is absolutely clear to me that Matt did fail to respond in the form of a question to IT’S TWOSDAY $800, especially compared to how he responded the remaining 20 times he responded. Alex was absolutely correct to rule against him. Regarding the fact that one red bar was still remaining on Matt’s timer when Alex ruled, the show often will compress silence in post-production in order to ensure the viewers at home get to hear as as many clues as possible.
- A similar silence compression appeared to happen on Rachel’s missed Daily Double.
- Effective in first on buzzer stats: Dana 40.38% (21/52), Matt 30.77% (16/52), Rachel 28.85% (15/52).
