Today’s Jeopardy! contestants:

Tyler Stevenson, a special education teacher from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Tyler Stevenson on Jeopardy!

Nora Inman, a policy analyst from Louisville, Kentucky

Nora Inman on Jeopardy!

Adam Remsen, an attorney & theater producer from Memphis, Tennessee (4-day total: $72,601)

Adam Rensen on Jeopardy!

Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

Just a bit less than two weeks ago, Peter McFerrin was successful in his attempt to become the 294th 5-time champion since Jeopardy! returned to North American airwaves in 1984. Today, Adam Remsen looks to become the 295th. (Do I think we’ll get to 300 before GTA VI? With the number of times GTA VI has been delayed, it wouldn’t surprise me…) In any case, our challengers today are Nora Inman of Louisville, Kentucky, and Tyler Stevenson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, both of whom I’m sure would greatly prefer to keep that count at 294. Also at stake for Adam today is a guaranteed spot in the 34th Tournament of Champions, although at the present time it does look like his fourth win yesterday just about did guarantee that spot already.

Meanwhile, as I alluded to last week (and was met with someone incorrectly trying to correct me, as if I hadn’t looked up the TV listings before I made my statements), Round 2 coverage of the US Open on NBC is going to be preempting the show if you watch on an NBC affiliate at 7:00 Eastern or earlier. Check your local listings or Matt Carberry’s Google sheet for the rescheduled time. A number of markets will be airing the show at 1 PM Eastern tomorrow, immediately prior to the start of golf coverage at 1:30 PM Eastern.

Final Jeopardy! Category: Around The World

Final Jeopardy! Clue: The only places in mainland Africa where the Euro is official currency are in territories of this nation

In order to redesign our merchandise area to serve you better in 2026, all merchandise sales have been temporarily taken offline. Look for a return in late 2026! All previous orders will still be supported.

Correct response: What is Spain?

More Information About Final Jeopardy!:

Today’s Final Jeopardy hinges on a pair of Spanish exclaves bordering Morocco: Ceuta and Melilla. On the northern coast of the African continent, the autonomous cities are the only European-held territories on mainland Africa and thus are the only spots on mainland Africa where the Euro is the official currency. While Morocco does also lay claim to both cities, such claims generally do not receive international recognition.

I personally tend to do better in geography compared to the average contestant; while I got this clue correct, I’d be hard-pressed to predict how well the players will do. African geography often plays more difficult.

Jeopardy! Round:

(Categories: On The Loner Calendar; Broadway Musicals By Song; Meanings Of Geographic Names; Cozy Words; Fit; To Be Tide)

It was Tyler who found the Daily Double after a pair of correct responses; unfortunately for him, an incorrect response put him back at the starting line. After 15 clues, the scores were Adam $4,600 Tyler $1,600 Nora $600.

Statistics at the first break (15 clues):

Adam 7 correct 1 incorrect
Tyler 4 correct 1 incorrect
Nora 2 correct 1 incorrect

Today’s interviews:

Tyler is part of a Jeopardy! community on Discord.
Nora is 16 weeks pregnant with her first child.
Adam would like to take a trip to return to Tokyo.

Adam picked up another handful after the break to continue to lead; on the opening board, Adam got 4 in geography and 3 in cozy words and fashion (fit), while Tyler got 3 in tides.

Statistics after the Jeopardy round:

Adam 12 correct 2 incorrect
Nora 6 correct 1 incorrect
Tyler 9 correct 3 incorrect

Scores after the Jeopardy! Round:

Adam $6,000
Nora $2,600
Tyler $2,400

Double Jeopardy! Round:

(Categories: World History; It’s Silent, G; All Kinds Of Lit; Whatever’s Clever; Adobe; TV & Film)

Adam found both Daily Doubles within the first six clues of this round; when he picked up just a combined $5,000 from them, I’m sure he wasn’t expecting Tyler to go on a charge, but Tyler did go on a late charge, meaning I’d be hard-pressed to say that Adam cruised to a runaway today. On the second board, Adam got 3 in silent Gs and clever things, while Tyler got 3 in world history.

Statistics after Double Jeopardy:

Adam 25 correct 2 incorrect
Tyler 20 correct 5 incorrect
Nora 10 correct 1 incorrect
Total number of unplayed clues this season: 11 (0 today).

Scores going into Final:

Adam $26,200
Tyler $12,000
Nora $7,400

Adam put the exclamation point on win #5 by giving the correct response to Final Jeopardy; he’s got the guaranteed ToC spot now and will go for win #6 tomorrow.

Tonight’s results:

Nora $7,400 – $4,600 = $2,800 (What is… England)
Tyler $12,000 – $2,801 = $9,199 (What is Morocco?)
Adam $26,200 + $800 = $27,000 (What is Spain?) (5-day total: $99,601)

Adam Remsen, today's Jeopardy! winner (for the June 18, 2026 game.)

Andy’s Thoughts:

  • It felt obvious to me that Tyler feels very passionate about his friends in the community and I’m glad for his sake that he got the opportunity to talk about it in his interview today. Also, with 20 correct against a ToCer, I feel like Tyler is definitely on the longlist for Second Chance consideration.
  • Today’s J!6 clues can be found at the monthly archive.

Final Jeopardy! wagering suggestions:

(Scores: Adam $26,200 Tyler $12,000 Nora $7,400)

Adam: Bet no more than $2,199 and enjoy that ToC spot! (Actual bet: $800)

Nora: Bet at least $1,800, but you might as well go all in to force Tyler to get the math right on the cover bet in the battle for second. (Actual bet: $4,600)

Tyler: You’re playing for second here. Bet $2,801 to cover Nora. (Actual bet: $2,801)
