Chris D’Angelo, a content manager from Washington, D.C. (3-day total: $53,600)

Chris D'Angelo on Jeopardy!

Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

Chris D’Angelo returns on this Memorial Day as a 3-day champion; he goes for win #4 against Jack Kelly and Veronica Matthews.

After looking at the box scores from Chris’s first three games, I think I am most impressed by his attempt statistics. He definitely seems to have the knowledge to go on a run as long as Tristan Williams did. Could we have two superchampions in a row?

Final Jeopardy! Category: Southern Africa

Final Jeopardy! Clue: Called the “Calendar Lake” because it’s about 365 miles long & 52 miles wide, it shares its name with a country

In order to redesign our merchandise area to serve you better in 2026, all merchandise sales have been temporarily taken offline. Look for a return in late 2026! All previous orders will still be supported.

Correct response: What is Lake Malawi?

More Information About Final Jeopardy!:

Lake Malawi is known by many as the “Calendar Lake” for a few reasons; as the clue mentions, it’s 365 miles long and 52 miles wide. However, apparently the lake also has 12 rivers flowing into it—a third piece of calendar serendipity.

I think most of the people getting this will probably know it because of the “name a southern African lake named after a country” and not the calendar cluing, but we shall see.
