There’ll be another musical prodigy joining the “Peanuts” gang when they return to the big screen next month in “The Peanuts Movie,” a 3D animated comedy that marks the comic-strip gang’s first big-screen outing in 35 years. His name: Trombone Shorty.Don’t look for him on the screen, though. Rather, you’ll have to listen for him.The 29-year-old New Orleans jazz superstar (known by his mama as Troy Andrews) revealed Monday (Oct. 26) through his social media channels that when director Steve Martino’s film hits theaters, Andrews and his trombone will provide the iconic “wah-wah” voice distinct to all adults in the series — and which kids have been imitating since it debuted in the 1967 made-for-TV Valentine’s Day special “You’re in Love, Charlie Brown.”

At the end of this episode, I noted the woman who came in second (Katherine), had she bet everything in Final Jeopardy, would have ended up with $14,400. She got the question right, but only bet $799, so ended up with only $7999 (I think). After Alex saw that Ricky got the question wrong, said “you were lucky”, and then, after seeing his bid (which resulted in him having $14401), said “you would have won by only a dollar”. I had to TiVo the ending a couple times to understand what he was getting at. OK, figured it out…BUT, when he said “you were lucky” to Ricky, Ricky’s bid had not yet been revealed. Does Alex know the bids before they are revealed? It would certainly seem so, based on the timing of his comment.
