How long will Dan Afshar’s run last? That is the biggest question on many minds right now; he picked up victory #6 yesterday. Today, he goes for win #7 against Surrey’s Mike Parkinson and North London’s Gill Woon.

Both Daily Doubles are still out with 16 clues to play; at the commercial, the scores were Dan £3,150 Gill £1,525 Mike £1,100. Coming out of the break, Dan found DD3 but lost just £250 on it. When he found DD4, he bet just £100, preferring to take his chances on his buzzer skill. It was a good choice, as he did cement a runaway.
