This game’s Jeopardy! Masters contestants:

Brad Rutter, an actor & producer from Los Angeles, California (21-6, 0 points)

Brad Rutter on Jeopardy!

Juveria Zaheer, a psychiatrist from Whitby, Ontario, Canada (7-5, 0 points)

Juveria Zaheer on Jeopardy!

Neilesh Vinjamuri, a software engineer from Lionville, Pennsylvania (8-4, 0 points)

Neilesh Vinjamuri on Jeopardy!

Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:

Our second game this week sees the three third-place finishes from the opening set of Knockout Round matches in Neilesh Vinjamuri, Juveria Zaheer, and Brad Rutter. This is a must-win game, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals and the other two players going home. The Unified Prediction Model gives Brad a 37% chance of winning, Juveria a 32% chance, and Neilesh a 31% chance. Brad hasn’t had a good game since the 2019 All-Star Games final—he will absolutely need to channel the Brad of old in order to make it through this game. Part of me is expecting to see one of the more dramatic games in the history of the show, considering the stakes—but we shall see.
