Warning: This page contains spoilers for the May 20, 2025, first game of Jeopardy! Masters — please do not scroll down if you wish to avoid being spoiled. It will be updated alongside the Eastern Time airing of the show, beginning at about 9:00 PM Eastern.
This game’s Jeopardy! Masters contestants:
Roger Craig, an applied scientist from Arlington, Virginia (15-7, 4 points)
Victoria Groce, a writer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (13-6, 4 points)
Yogesh Raut, an educational blogger, podcast host & writer originally from Springfield, Illinois (14-10, 6 points)
Andy’s Pregame Thoughts:
Jeopardy! Masters returns tonight with the start of the quarterfinals; our remaining six players will play 1 game each episode over the next three episodes, with the field cut down to 4 players after the episode airing on May 27.
The first game of the quarterfinals features the current top three players (points carried over from the first three episodes) in Yogesh Raut, Victoria Groce, and Roger Craig. As of right now, Yogesh is the favorite to win Masters overall (+260), with Victoria’s odds are +310 and Roger’s +480. That said, with this game here, the Unified Prediction Model thinks Victoria has a 38.6% chance of winning, Yogesh 32.8%, and Roger 28.6%.
In terms of scheduling: another reminder that the festivities tonight air at 9:00 on ABC in the United States and 10:00 on CTV2 in Canada.
