This game's Jeopardy! Masters contestants:
Andrew enters this game with a 19-21 career win-loss record; Victoria's and Yogesh's won-loss records are dependent on the outcome of Game 1.
Andy's Pregame Thoughts:
The second half of our opening night of the semifinals features the #1, #2, and #4 seeds in Victoria Groce, Yogesh Raut, and Andrew He, as #3 seed Paolo Pasco sits out. (I should note that the podium positions of Yogesh and Victoria may be incorrect above, as they depend on Game 1's results—explaining why they were not posted on Jeopardy!'s website.
While Game 1's stats can't be plugged into the Unified Prediction Model in time before Semifinal #2 starts, I can still give the following outcome from the model:
Victoria: 38.2% chance of winning, 30.9% chance of finishing second;
Yogesh: 32.5% chance of winning, 37.1% chance of finishing second;
Andrew: 29.3% chance of winning, 32.0% chance of finishing second.
