Andy's Pregame Thoughts:
As we enter into the second half of the Jeopardy! Masters quarterfinal round, we're starting to enter into the territory of "must-win games" for some of our lower-ranked players. Long Nguyen is in that territory tonight, playing against Paolo Pasco and Juveria Zaheer; considering that he is very likely to have a match against both Yogesh Raut and Victoria Groce at some point, he very likely needs the full 3 points in order to find a spot in the semifinals come next Wednesday. Unfortunately, his timing on the signalling device has been the worst of the six Masters thus far, at just 39%. On the other hand, Long has been the only player that has yet to miss a Daily Double.
