REAL LITERARY PARODIES had me thinking of joke answers, especially the $1000 clue ( This parody of “Goodnight Moon” is a reminder to power down, especially a device kids love); I wanted to answer with the title of Adam Mansbach’s 2011 book — but that wouldn’t be appropriate for Jeopardy!
By the end of 15, the scores were:

James’ wife, on their first anniversary, gave him a box with 365 love letters so that he’d have one to read each day of their second year of marriage! (He doesn’t remember what he did in reply.)
I liked the THEY WILL SING COME categories; it was all about songs that have the word COME in the song title!
IF YOU BUILD IT $800 had the Daily Double, very late in the round. Scores were:

MY “SON”, THE PRESIDENT $2000 had the Daily Double; we’d already seen questions about Jefferson, Benjamin Harrison, Madison, and Jackson in the category. Scores were:

Jared chose to wager $5,000. I like that bet — there are only 4 possible answers left! His clue: He whipped 2 former Presidents in the same election by an electoral score of 435-88-8. Jared’s correct response put him at $15,600
Meanwhile, Jared worked on consolidating his advantage. Angela did get in a few times to keep Jared in check, though! Meanwhile, the final category was THE NORTON SIMON MUSEUM — with one Daily Double left. I knew it!
That Daily Double was found on the $2000 clue, the final clue of the round! The scores were:

Obviously, the bet for James is $6,300 here. Instead, he went for just $6,200. Sigh. His clue: The design of the garden here at the Norton Simon Museum was inspired by Claude Monet’s own garden in this French village. Both feature water lilies floating on a pond that reflects the sky. James’ response was incorrect and he fell to $6,400.
