Andy’s Pre-Game Thoughts:

Today is the season finale of Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars; our remaining players are Ike Barinholtz, Steven Weber, and Mina Kimes.

Ike Barinholtz is the favorite to take victory today, following his victory over Patton Oswalt in the semifinals and continuous high-level play throughout his Jeopardy! career. However: in tournaments, with how well everyone tends to play at this level, it is very rare for even a top favorite to be more than 50% to take a victory. There’s so much variance at play—even moreso with six Daily Doubles instead of three—that while both Steven and Mina are rated well behind Ike, there is a very distinct chance of either one of them taking victory tonight and the million dollars for their respective charities.

Final Jeopardy! wagering suggestions:

(Scores: Mina $12,500 Steven $10,700 Ike $5,100)

Ike: You’re probably snookered if Steven bets small either way, but if he goes big, you might want to limit your bet to $1,499 or less to stay ahead of Mina if she covers and is incorrect. (Actual bet: $5,100)

Steven: Your best chance of winning probably comes if you keep Ike locked out; bet no more than $499. (Actual bet: $8,000)

Mina: Standard cover bet is $8,901. (Actual bet: $8,910)
