One recent Coryat:
originally 12-5-08: A dreary 14600, especially considering I had 7200 in negs. If you review the game, you’ll see Ben Bishop stung his live opponents just as severely.
I thought my DVR‘s been saving all Jeopardy! episodes until I delete them, but I find out today that’s not the case for the GSN reruns. Since I’ve been recording a lot of tennis (that’s probably been spoiled for me before I can watch it anyway), I only have two recent reruns left on there. That’s only two episodes lost, but still…BOOO!! And I painstakingly make sure each and every episode is recorded since my “series recording” function isn’t consistent. >:-(
Tell me, are you eating up Andy’s Learned League updates like I am? 😉 Do you too want a little more? It might well be just me. Let us know in a comment.
On to the Summer Hiatus Challenge. First, there was a replacement question for the 8-pointer on Week 3 Day 2: The First President to…: Have served in the United States Navy; had he lost, his opponent would also have been the first Navy veteran to be President. Jeanie, Ryan, Alison, Andy, Joon, Julie. No one else has responded, as I type this.
Now for Week 4 Day 4. Only 3 people got perfect scores this time, and none did among the people I’m watching. In order from highest score to lowest. Thanks again to Dad of Twins for letting us share the clues he’s written:
Vito Cortese and Julie Bratvold Ghanbari (tie)
Joon Pahk
Ryan Chaffee and David Menchaca (tie)
